Hôtel Louvre Marsollier Opêra (Korner Louvre) — Paris, France

About Hôtel Louvre Marsollier Opêra (Korner Louvre)

Wilde stayed on the 6th floor, but the number of rooms and configuration is changed from the period, and therre's no evidence that the Wilde Suite represents the location in the building where Wilde stayed. There's a 7th floor, accessible only by staircare, in the wood-beamed one-time attic. These rooms don't offer tons of room to maneuver around the bed, but feature stone alls and dark wood, oozing a certain "urchin in the attic" vibe you won't get on lower floors, and which possibly offers more of an authentic Wilde experience.

Literary significance

You can ask for the 6th floor room associated with Wilde, but while the hotel documents WIlde's stay, the rooms have changed since 1899, and the footprint of the 6th floor has changed, too. And the period details of the room does not remain.
